Stefan Iwasawa is a Vancouver Island University Graduate and a research assistant with the Centre for Coastal Health. He currently holds his degree is Biology and a certificate in International Proficiency. This provides him with both bench top experiences as well as cross cultural understanding. Prior to his work at the CCH he was a research assistant at the University of Auckland’s Liggins Institute. He has a wide range of interests and has worked on projects ranging from ticks found on the marine toad of Central America to the effects of Methyl Iodide as a soil disinfectant.
